GreenScape, to be held April 24, is a city and community partnership investment of beautification, clean-up, and planting in public spaces throughout the City of Annapolis. GreenScape was founded through the efforts of former Mayor Ellen Moyer and the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Advisory Board. Since 1991, hundreds of projects have been initiated and adopted by individuals, community groups and neighborhood associations. 16th Annual Chesapeake Watershed Forum

November 3, 2021 - November 5, 2021

Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay's Watershed Forum will be held online this year. It is a watershed-wide event reaching over 400 restoration and protection practitioners to inspire and empower local action toward clean water. The forum shares successful tools and techniques, offers lessons and learning fro on-the-ground work, builds capacity of local organizations, fosters partnerships, educates on new initiatives and emerging practices, and offers the opportunity to network and celebrate success. The City provides plant materials, mulch, trash bags and gloves, and in turn, members of the community volunteer to make a difference in Annapolis. GreenScape will take place on Saturday, April 23 when the City gives away free plants. This year’s selection will include many native pollinator plants so the butterflies and bees can join…
