Discover Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary: Guided Tour
Join a Jug Bay Naturalist for a free guided tour of the wetland boardwalk to discover the wonderful and unique plants and animals found at the Sanctuary. Tour is 45 minutes in length and is free with the $6 per vehicle entrance fee. No registration required. Meet outside the Jug Bay Visitor Center. Information

What mammals inhabit our fascinating marshes at Jug Bay? Find out, and perhaps see some in person on an evening hike through the woods and along the edge of the marsh. Unity Gardens presents its annual spring speaker event. This year the speaker is Shannon Currey, a horticultural educator, who will discuss lead a look at native plant-based solutions to common landscape challenges. She advises that rather than oceans of mulch and vast expanses of turf grass, try using use native grasses and sedges. Tickets: $50. Proceeds benefit Unity Gardens' grants program.
