Catfish Species in Maryland: A Snapshot of the Last 120 Years
Maryland is often called the “United States in miniature” and we have a variety of catfish species that demonstrates this as well. We will look at the various habitats that these versatile fish prefer (native and introduced), the problems that can result from stocking nonnative fish and the challenges that managers face when dealing with a species that is both loved and reviled.
