Café Scientifique: The Magothy River Index and the Yellow Perch Dilemma
The Magothy River Index is calculated each year, providing a perspective of the well-being of the river based on three criteria: the amount of submerged aquatic vegetation, the amount of dissolved oxygen in the deepest water and water clarity. The City of Annapolis will hold a Grand (re)Opening for the downtown Noah Hillman Garage with live music, giveaways and free parking. The public is invited to attend. The garage closed in April of 2022 for a rebuild. Among the new garage's features are stormwater controls and six Level 3 DC Fast chargers and three Level 2 chargers for electric vehicles.
