“Weed to Read” Gardening Volunteers Needed

Weed to Read volunteers plan to meet on-site to continue pulling wire grass and planting donated bee balm!

Library staff, who will arrive by 8:45 am, will have bottled water, sunscreen, bug spray and collapsible chairs for volunteers along with some gardening tools such as 5-gallon buckets, 30-gallon yard waste bags, rakes, large shovels and wheelbarrows. However, volunteers are encouraged to bring their own hand tools and kneeling pads.
