Spring GreenScape in Annapolis Planning Meeting
GreenScape, to be held April 24, is a city and community partnership investment of beautification, clean-up, and planting in public spaces throughout the City of Annapolis. GreenScape was founded through the efforts of former Mayor Ellen Moyer and the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Advisory Board. Project Clean Stream Kickoff
Project Clean Stream will kick off with cleanups taking place across the Chesapeake Bay watershed and will run through Spring 2021. Every spring, tens of thousands of volunteers come together to pick up trash from local streams, creeks, rivers, parks, and neighborhoods as part of the Alliance for the Chesapeake Bay’s Project Clean Stream — the largest cleanup event in the Chesapeake Bay region. Help remove trash and invasive plants from the St. Luke’s Restoration of Nature. We will also be doing some spring planting at this time. In response to the pandemic, we will not be offering our usual snacks or lunch. Please bring snacks or a bag lunch and a water bottle. The church undercroft will be open for restrooms.
