Learn About Tree Canopy Goals in Annapolis

January 16 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

save our trees logoSave Our Trees has organized a discussion about the City of Annapolis’ goal to achieve a 50% Tree Canopy by 2040.

Speakers:

  • Alderman Rob Savage – How the city arrived at this goal
  • City of Annapolis Urban Forester Brian Adams – What resources are in place and what is needed
  • Bartlett Tree Experts’ Arborists Ryan Cuccia and Josh Bohannon – How to save existing trees and “tree risk mitigation”
  • Business Owner and Former City Alderman Jared Littmann – How businesses respond to customer buying habits

Since the greatest loss of existing tree canopy in Annapolis is on private property, participants are encouraged to take what you learn and apply this newfound knowledge to your yard, your community, your HOA and your city.

The discussion is open to all.
