Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary Paddleathon

Get up close and personal with the Patuxent River, the longest River entirely within Maryland, during two paddling opportunities at the Jug Bay Wetlands Sanctuary and Patuxent River Park: a 4.2-mile or 11-mile paddle. Enjoy spectacular views of the river and wetlands.
The shorter paddle will take approximately three hours to complete and is geared toward newer paddlers. The start will be at Jug Bay Emory Waters Nature Preserve (EWNP), 6032 Pindell Road, Lothian.
The longer paddle will take approximately seven hours to complete and is designed for experienced paddlers. The start will be at Queen Anne Canoe Launch (QACL), 18405 Queen Anne Road, Upper Marlboro.
Early registration closes on May 22 with varying prices if you bring your own equipment or rent it. Each paddle will end with an after party with food, drinks, music and games.
