Conservation Café: Activism, Agriculture and Stewardship in the Cedarville Band of Piscataway Indians

March 18, 2021 at 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Conservation Cafe March 2021

Speaker Valarie Proctor, activist, educator, farmer, member of the Cedarville Band, will discuss the band’s work on novel (and very old) stewardship initiatives for those homelands, such as sustainable agriculture.

Expand your horizons with the Audubon Naturalist Society’s monthly Conservation Café series with speakers who will discuss science, nature, policy, journalism, art, spirituality, justice, and more — all ways that people work toward conservation and environmental protection. All programs are virtual.

Registration fees ($5-15) go to support the Audubon Naturalist Society Conservation Program.
