The Symphony is looking to promote and sustain a healthy, environmentally friendly, thriving community and planet and has joined forces with Annapolis Green and Nia Franklin, Miss America 2019, who is a renowned soprano. This concert, at the Key Auditorium, will feature an evening of music that reflects the spirit of nature, under the baton of Anna Binneweg, Music Director and Conductor. The program will feature local composer Randall Neilson’s Thomas Point Suite, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 (Pastoral), and arias by Puccini, Gershwin and more.
The LSO, our community orchestra involved in community affairs, is central Maryland’s premier community orchestra made up of local professionals, teachers, military musicians, exceptional amateurs and students. They play for the love of making high-quality classical and light classical music for themselves and for their listeners. The orchestra has the development of young musicians as part of its mission.
Something different! Join Annapolis Green for a pep rally to give an intro to the Londontowne Symphony Orchestra’s January 25 concert by having a few Symphony musicians join us at the Annapolis Green House.
Drop by for a little music, bubbly and to purchase tickets. Only on Tuesday, The LSO will offer an incentive: Buy 3 tickets and get the 4th free.
