Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day

Old bug spray, oil-based paint, solvents, fertilizer, chemicals, gasoline, mercury thermometers… get rid of all that nasty stuff in your garage or shed the right way. Anne Arundel County will take all these materials and more at its next Hazardous Waste Drop Off Day.

This program is for Anne Arundel County and Annapolis residents only. The City of Annapolis has entered into a partnership with Anne Arundel County to accept Household Hazardous Waste generated by City residents at the County’s collection events. It’s easy. You don’t even have to leave your car.

Commercially registered vehicles, including rentals, and commercial waste are not accepted.

More info is available from the County here and from the City here. Check out the sites to see what materials are accepted.
