EVs Hit the Avenue – 6 – 8 pm
In the Maryland Avenue Recovery Zone, 4 to 6 EVs will be parked on the Avenue while it is closed to car traffic but open for outdoor dining. The EV owners (and dealers) will answer questions about their cars. (Everybody will be required to wear a mask.) Learn about the benefits of driving electric — for your wallet and the planet.
Among the vehicles you’ll see: Chevrolet Bolt (including a Bolt police patrol car!), Tesla Model S, WV e-Golf, customized Chevrolet Volt, and a Harley-Davidson LiveWire all-electric motorcycle.
Fundraising Dinner – 4 – 10 pm
Stop by Annapolis Founding One Hundred supporter Galway Bay Irish Restaurant on Maryland Avenue for a delicious dinner under the stars (or inside) to benefit Annapolis Green! Make a reservation or just walk in and tell the server you’re there for the Annapolis Green fundraiser. This also applies to take-out. See the great three-course $25 fixed price menu.
Galway will have great music from 6 to 9pm: Timmie Metz, who is featured in a fun music video at our October 1 event.
While you’re visiting with our cars (and owners), and enjoying dinner, join our entertainment! With the Maryland Theatre for the Performing Arts leading the way, put on your dancing shoes and slide! We’re just going to say “It’s Electric!”

Thank you also to our partners, the merchants of Maryland Avenue, the City of Annapolis’ Office of Economic Development and Office of Environmental Policy, and the Downtown Annapolis Partnership.
Many other events are planned for Drive Electric Week. See our Drive Electric page for details.
Join Annapolis Green to learn VIRTUALLY about about driving electric — one of the best things you can do to mitigate the effects of Climate Change. The EV Earth Day Showcase was to have been presented by Annapolis Green during the Severna Park Earth Day Festival and as part of the national Drive Electric Earth Day event but we’re going virtual instead.

Then join us on Tuesday, April 28, for a Zoom event designed to answer all your questions about driving electric. Details posted here.
