GreenScape is a city and community partnership investment of beautification, clean-up, and planting in public spaces throughout the City of Annapolis. GreenScape was founded through the efforts of former Mayor Ellen Moyer and the Annapolis Recreation and Parks Advisory Board. Since 1991, hundreds of projects have been initiated and adopted by individuals, community groups and neighborhood associations. GreenScape takes place each spring with additional endeavors in the fall during the national Make a Difference Day, a national effort encouraging groups and individuals to volunteer in their community to improve the lives of others.

The City provides plant materials, mulch, trash bags and gloves, and in turn, members of the community volunteer to make a difference in Annapolis.
Organizational meetings will be held Wednesday, February 5 and Wednesday, March 4. Both meetings will be held at 6 p.m. at the “Pip” Moyer Recreation Center located at 273 Hilltop Lane in Annapolis.
