Severn River Association
Three things about the Severn River Association (SRA), the organization that speaks for our capital river.
1 – SRA’s water quality monitoring program just wrapped up. The number crunching begins! Learn more.
2 – Earlier this week, SRA presented a talk on Oyster restoration in the river. You can see the recording here.
3 – Bay Weekly recently wrote about how the Severn River Association is bringing residents to the shoreline to discover the creatures that live in the shallows. If you live along the Severn River you may want to involve your community next spring and summer. There’s a lot to be learned from little creatures like mummichog, bull minnows, Atlantic silversides, pipefish, gobies, blennies, mosquito fish and even seahorses – all found by curious citizen scientists under this SRA program. Learn more.
4 – SRA is a GreenGive partner.
