St Luke’s Restoration of Nature’s Earth Day & The Arts Community Concert and Arts Festival
On Friday April 21, join St. Luke's Restoration of Nature for a one-hour community concert with Dr. Ildar Khannanov and his students from the Peabody Institute, followed by an art reception with local Maryland artists. The concert and reception will run from 6 to 8 pm. Save Our Trees: Remove Invasive Ivy

In 2020, Scenic Rivers Land Trust took action to remediate and control the threat that invasive plants pose on the health of Bacon Ridge Natural Area. First, teams of volunteers mapped and identified invasive plant infestations along Bacon Ridge’s 15+ miles of publicly accessible trails. Then in spring 2021, the first season of volunteer workdays began to clear and remove invasive plants from along the trails. Composting 101
The Anne Arundel County Master Gardeners will teach you how to make your own compost using yard waste and kitchen scraps. Attend the one-hour compost demonstration at the compost site on the Wildwood Trail at Quiet Waters Park. Anne Arundel County residents will receive a FREE compost bin.
