The Anne Arundel County Master Gardeners will teach you how to make your own compost using yard waste and kitchen scraps. Attend the one-hour compost demonstration at the compost site on the Wildwood Trail at Quiet Waters Park. Anne Arundel County residents will receive a FREE compost bin. Save Our Trees Ivy Removal at Truxtun Park
Join the Save Our Trees organization to remove invasive ivy from trees and revitalize the forest in Truxtun Park. Bring gloves, loppers, hand saws, water and bug spray. Be sure to wear long sleeve clothing. No prior experience is needed; other volunteers will show you what to do.
