Great Pumpkin Dropoff

We love our pumpkins and jack-o-lanterns. But after Thanksgiving, they need to give way for holiday decorations. Don’t put them in the landfill! Instead, give them a dignified demise as compost, Nature’s fertilizer.

Bring your unwanted pumpkins to Truxtun Park, across from the skate park and just past the pool and ball fields, We’ve got bins set up to collect them. The Great Pumpkin dropoff is going on together with our kitchen scrap collection that will continue through March 30.
