Design A Pollinator Café
April 6, 2022 at 11:00 am - 12:00 pm
Presented by Homestead Gardens. Pollinators are key to growing the majority of fruits, vegetables and grains humans rely on for food. And yet, the numbers of many key pollinators are plunging. You can help by planting a garden that attracts, shelters, and feeds our key pollinators like birds, bees, butterflies, and bats. Bonus: pollinator gardens are full of color, texture, pattern, and scale, and are easy to conceptualize and plant.
Learn from Homestead Gardens Horticulturalist and Nursery Manager Zach Ebaugh about planning and planting your own Pollinator Café: a space in your yard, patio, or porch that will provide food, shelter, water, and nesting spaces for pollinators. Participants will receive a coupon to use in Homestead’s Perennials Department.
This class is free, however, registration is required. Register here.
