Climate Change Science, Mitigation, & Adaptation

Ted Weber balticon 55At Balticon 55, the Maryland Regional Science Fiction and Fantasy convention put on by the Baltimore Science Fiction Society, Annapolis ecologist and author Ted Weber will give a talk about the very real greenhouse effect and how it is increasing temperatures, melting glaciers, raising sea levels, and causing other negative effects. Then he will discuss ways people can reduce the amount of future warming and damage, and what can be done to adapt to the warming that’s already occurring. Attendance is free and open to the public.
